Sponsorships & Community Grants
Windsor Community Bank® Branch was established to not only provide banking services to the Windsor Community and a return on investment for its shareholders, but, as part of its Charter, it must provide 80% of its profits back to the community in the form of sponsorships and grants.

To date we have sponsored a number of community activities including the Stonnington Primary School end-of-year Gala and monthly Student Awards, provided the coffee shop for Prahran Netball Association, shade marquees at the Prahran Aquatic Centre, and supporting the distribution of newsletters for Neighbourhood Watch and the Prahran Mechanics Institute.
We also support the Ardoch Foundation, the ALSO Foundation and our newest sponsorship deals aim to support two local institutions, the Astor Theatre and Red Stitch Actors Theatre.

With all the benefits we provide to the community, there must be something in it for us. By this we mean that when we provide assistance to any particular group, we expect to get something in return to further grow our business. In this way we get to make more money that can help other groups or organisations, thereby creating a perpetual cycle that helps secure and grow our community.

If you feel you or an organisation you work with would be suitable for a grant or sponsorship, please fill out the submission form at the bottom of this page. Once recieved, our board will consider your application and be in touch shortly.

Alternatively, please feel free to email our chairman directly with your specific details and request or drop into a local branch.

Unfortunately applications are now closed for 2011, but please stay tuned for the next round!

Past Sponsorships & Grants Alfred Hospital
The Alfred Father's Day Appeal

The Alfred hospital in Melbourne is home to Australia's largest and busiest trauma centre and as such, many of its patients are men.

For more than a decade, The Alfred has been working to raise awareness and support for men's health through a wide range of activities, media stories and publications such as The Underbelly of Men's Health.

As part of the Hospital's commitment to improving men's health, The Alfred has produced a special booklet about the problems ?below the belt'. The booklet, written with the assistance of Alfred specialists, includes essential and easy-to-digest health information about topics including stomach ulcers; liver stomach, bowel, oesophageal and prostate cancers; fatty liver disease and much more.

This year, Bendigo Bank is proudly supporting this important Appeal, with all money raised used to purchase life-saving equipment for the hospital.
